I have been living and painting in the Charnwood area for the past twenty years. It is an area that is rich in Natural beauty and interesting subjects for an artist, and our own local steam railways I find particularly fascinating. So, I decided to produce the booklet of a variety of Great Central Railway views in water colours. I have always had an interest in steam railways and am indeed fortunate to have the splendid GCR on my doorstep.
